Bibliophile Goodies! (aka the post-holidays giveaway)
It’s a day later than planned (I thought yesterday was Sunday pretty much the entire day; probably not the best start to the new year!), but it’s time for the giveaway! Right before Christmas, Cafe Press (self-described as: the online destination for custom hoodies, personalized t-shirts and funny Valentine’s gifts!) e-mailed me, asking if I’d be interested in doing a giveaway of their merchandise on the blog. After consulting with my Twitter friends (to make sure it wouldn’t be too corporate sponsor-ish), I decided it’d be great fun! Think of it as a post-holiday treat. :D Essentially, I got to create a few ‘sets,’ each worth $60. I also was able to choose $60 worth of merchandise to receive myself, in order to let y’all know about the quality. As you can see, my selections have arrived: here I am doing my best Vanna White (somehow, I don’t think Wheel of Fortune will be calling me)! The tee shirt is adorable and wonderfully soft; in fact, my sister immediately tried to claim the shirt for herself. The colour is softer than I was expecting from the online photos: it’s not as light as it appears in this photograph of me, but it is a good two shades lighter than how it looks on the website on my laptop. The size chart was spot-on, which is a relief! The fabric itself is a good weight: not so thick it’s stiff but not so thin that it shows every bump underneath. I’m definitely delighted with my new shirt. As for the travel mug, the ceramic has a good weight to it; it feels like quality. I tested the lid’s ‘spill-proof’ qualities by filling the mug with water and turning it upside down. A few drops spilled out when I had it quite steeply angled, but that was it; I held it entirely upside down for a good thirty seconds without seeing any water. Sitting in my car’s cup holder, going over potholes and speed bumps, there were no leaks. I’m impressed with its design, from both aesthetic and practical perspectives. I also received a little pin that says ‘read a book’: it matches the picture online perfectly and opens and closes easily. I’d never ordered anything from Cafe Press before, but I’m definitely impressed with what I got, and I think either the tee or the mug would make marvelous gifts if I had $25-$30 to spend. As a bonus, you can see from my demonstration in this photograph that both shirt and mug are conducive to running in an attempt to make it in the frame before the self-timer goes off (heehee):
So now you want to win your own goodies, right?! I’ve put together three themed sets for you to choose from. First up is for the general book-lover:
You’ll receive a ceramic travel mug with the definition of ‘bibliophile’, a tote bag with the quote “I cannot live without books”, a journal (perhaps for tracking your TBR list?) featuring a books cover, with your choice of ruled, blank, or grid pages, and a little pin/button saying “I like big books and I cannot lie.”
I couldn’t resist pulling together a set for Jane Austen lovers! Included is a Persuasion coffee mug with a quote from the best love letter of all time: “You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. F.W.” *sigh* There’s also a 2011 wall calendar featuring original line drawings inspired by Pride and Prejudice, a tote bag with Jane Austen’s name in various fun fonts, and a 11″ x 17″ poster full of Austen-inspired girl power.
And of course, I had to celebrate libraries! My love for libraries is quite deep, so the only difficulty with this set was narrowing down all the options. If the winner chooses this one, she’ll have a few other choices to make, depending on whether she prefers a library-user or librarian perspective. But either way, it definitely includes an organic fitted tee (there’s also a men’s version; both include a variety of colour options) with a tattoo-style I Love My Library motto and package of 8 postcards with an old-school library checkout card print. It will also include a tote bag: either I Love My Library or Worship a Librarian. Depending on the colour of the shirt chosen (some colours cost a few more dollars than others), the winner will then get to choose two or three buttons/pins to show their library pride: Catalog This, Let There Be Librarians, Librarian: the Original Search Engine, , Take Me to Your Library, , Library Chick, Card Catalogs are Old School, That’s How I Roll, and/or Shhh.
Finally, I thought it only right that I include my own selections as a set! ;) I went with the Bibliophile t-shirt (it comes in three colours: yellow, pink, or mint), a travel mug with the Louisa May Alcott quote “She is too fond of books, and it has turned her brain.” and a cute line drawing of a woman reading, and a mini-button that says Read a Book.
Aren’t there so many marvelous choices?! I had such fun searching through all of the options for sale: this represents the tiny percentage of what’s on the site. Now for the fine-print as to how to actually enter. The giveaway will be open for ten days, and then one entrant will receive the set of their choice. So even though there are a few options, there will only be one winner. Since Cafe Press ships internationally, you can enter the giveaway no matter where you are. I don’t like the ‘jumping through hoops’ approach to giveaways, so I’m going to keep entering simple: leave a comment on this post telling me your favourite reading/book-ish accessory. Do you collect bookmarks, or is a pot of a tea essential to your reading experience? (I have to say, I got new slippers for Christmas, and now I have to be wearing them when I curl up with a book in order to feel really cosy.) In addition to telling me your favourite accessory, make sure you’ve included a link to your book blog: you must be a book blogger in order to enter. (You can be a new book blogger or an established one, a daily kind of poster or more sporadic, talking about any kind of books, as long as you have a blog whose main focus is books, you’re good.) And of course, tell me which set you’ll be choosing if you’re the lucky winner! The contest will close on January 14th, midnight central time, and I’ll draw the winner the next day. In sum, each comment must include: the link to your book blog, your answer re: favourite reading accessory, the set you’re hoping to win, and your e-mail address (WordPress already asks for this, so just be sure to enter the one you’d like me to contact you at). Got that? Then have at it!
My favorite bookish accessory is a pad of stickies, so I can mark places I want to refer to during my review.
And what a great bunch of prizes! How could anyone pick? I guess for me it would be, gosh, I guess I would go in order of your presentation with 1-4 reflecting 1st choice, 2nd, etc!

I love to have a blank book handy for note-taking and a hot cup of tea when I’m reading :-)
I’d love to win the Jane Austen set! Persuasion is my favorite of her books & I’d love to have that mug!
Oops, my book blog is http://www.bostonbibliophile.com and my email is bibliophile at bostonbibliophile.com!
Ooooh, I love the 3rd set with all the buttons (especially since I’m likely going to apply to some MLS programs soon). :)
Great giveaway!
Fantastic giveaway, Eva! My must-have reading accessory is a bookmark – but it has to be a specific kind of bookmark. It can’t be laminated – and it must be one-sided. That way I can take notes or mark down page numbers on the back of it. :)
If I win, I will definitely be choosing the Jane Austen set – that mug – ah Captain Wentworth. Sigh. Persuasion is the best Austen ever, in my opinion.

Wow, this is awesome! All the options look great, but I think I’d go with the library back if I won. I do <3 my library.

I think this is an absolutely FAB giveaway! And I’m thrilled that it’s an international one as well. My favourite bookish accessory has to be my handy little notebook that I take with me everywhere. I also have a zillion bookmarks, but I have been really looking for the perfect tote bag.
If I win, I’d love the library set. I love the tote bag and the shirt, but I am an absolute SUCKER for bookish badges.
My blog address: http://michelle-says.blogspot.com
Thanks for this.
What a great giveaway Eva! My choice would be the first one for the general book lover.
My favourite bookish accessory is my purple Penguin mug with the design of Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own which I use to drink tea at work every morning. It just makes the start of the day a little brighter and reminds me of what’s important.

A dictionary and an atlas within reach are must haves when I am reading, I use them regularly.
I’d love to have the general book lover’s set if I win please. My blog is Fresh Ink Books:
http://freshinkbooks.blogspot.com/
email is: sfuhringer@sympatico.ca
Thank you for the chance to enter.
I absolutely freakin’ adore bookmarks and have a fairly large collection. Still, I could not give up my post-it notes. :)
Uhh, hello! You had me at Jane Austen. I’m totally coveting that swag. :)
For Christmas I got a dolphin pillow pet (totally random), but it has been perfect to curl up on the couch with when I read. It is becoming my essential reading accessory. I wish I could bring it with me when I read on the train on my way to work, although there’s a good chance it would also make me fall asleep.
My favourite set is the Pride and Prejudice one. I love that mug!
What a fantastic giveaway, Eva! My favourite bookish accessory these days is a spike light (which I got at Book Blogger Con). It’s great for reading in bed without my partner grumbling about the light being left on! I’d love the first set — I want one of those mugs!
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Oh and I forgot to mention that I love your Vanna White impression!
I’m lost without a bookmark in my book! I have a couple I prefer using, but anything goes; a scrap of paper, a receipt, a ticket, a piece of string, the end of the tablecloth… As long as I have something to mark the page with (no dog-ears!).
Awesome items! I would love to be entered for the general book-lover set.
I think that my book journal is an essential for me when I’m reading. I keep it with me and write in it whenever the book makes me think of something or I’m wondering about what the writer or characters are doing. I haven’t been doing it much in the past couple years, as I have my blog. But I resolved to start it anew in 2011 and so far I can tell that it’s already going to let me give more insightful reviews and final thoughts about books on my blog.
This is such a great giveaway! I love so much of the stuff :)
I admit I am not HUGE on bookish accessories. I just need a sofa of some sort to stretch out on and I do use bookmarks, though I don’t really collect them. I have a couple from Ana and Heather that I greatly treasure, though :-)
What lovely prizes! My must have accessories while I read are: a magnetic bookmark and a pair of warm fuzzy socks (no cold feet while reading!). My favorite group of prizes is the general book lovers group.
My book blog is at http://the-iceberg.blogspot.com
email me at terrib61 at gmail dot com
My favorite bookish accessory is my Book Buddy – I’ve gotten some strange looks and comments because of it, but I don’t care, because I love it.
I’d love to be entered for the general book lover giveaway. Thanks, Eva!!
I love bookmarks, but these days I rarely read without a pen and something to write on, whether it’s a notebook or a 3×5 card that I use as a bookmark.
Tough choice! As much as I want that T-shirt, I think I have to go with the first (general) set.
My blog is, I assume, already linked, but I’ll include it here just in case: http://wordlily.com
Three pillows, that’s my favorite reading accessory. One must be properly propped up, now!
I would love to receive the 1st option. Thanks for deciding to hold this giveaway!

I think my favorite bookish accessories are my bookmarks. I have a really pretty pink one with abstract flowers. I love it!
I would love the Austen set. So cool! I love that line from Persuasion.
My blog is http://kristilovesbooks.blogspot.com
Great post, I love all the lengths you went to so that you could test out the products. Thank you for a wonderful give away!
Favorite reading accessory–getting to take off my glasses so I can see (mine are for distance so I love not wearing them when I read)
I would choose the librarian option since I am a librarian
http://helensbookblog.com
My favourite reading accessory are my page flags, which I use to mark passages I may want to quote in my review. And if I win, I’d like the general book-lover set. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
Both email and blog link should be associated with my comment, but here you are just in case:

My new favorite reading accessory is the bed chair my aunt got me for Christmas. I could have sworn I’d already posted bragging pictures, but I guess I didn’t — anyway, it’s amazing. I can sit and read in my bed, all warm and snuggly, without my back getting tired.
I’d love to have the Jane Austen set. I’m http://jennysbooks.wordpress.com and bastet57 AT gmail DOT com.
Oooooh! Pretty trinkets! I want that Austen one!
Anyway, where was I? Oh, yes. I tend to drag my ipod touch everywhere with me when I read. I like to listen to music and occasionally use it look up things that pop up in the book I’m reading.
chrisbookarama at gmail dot com
Mine’s a cup of tea. As soon as I curl up to read I seem to want one!
I love your sets! I’d have a hard time choosing between Jane Austen and libaries, though.
Happy New Year!
Whoohoo! I’d choose the Jane Austen set and my essential reading need is a large mug of Earl Grey.
These are so cute, Eva! Excellent giveaway.
My absolutely indispensable reading accessory: one of my favorite pens, the black Uniball medium-tip ones that my dad used. Given the fact that I obviously write in my books, then, I guess it’s a little ironic that my favorite of your sets is the library one…I promise I wouldn’t write in an actual library book!
This is so fun! I would have to say that my must-have accessory is a piece of paper that I can tear into little pieces to mark quotes that I want to go back and record. If chosen, I would love the Jane Austen set (mostly for the mug *sigh* so swoon-worthy!). Thanks for doing this, Eva!
What a great giveaway Eva! Thank you for putting this together for us.
So I love bookmarks and collect them but I also have this great little necklace that says “read” which is one of my favorite accessories.
And, I would love the Bibliophile tshirt. So cute!
This is such a fun giveaway! I’m glad you said yes. :)
I always have a bookmark (I own something like 120 of them. Sad, I know) nearby, as well as a little pad of post-it tags to mark quotes and passages I like.
This is a tough choice….but if I one, I would love the first “book-lover” package.
Yay! I’m excited to see this one on your blog! My favorite book accessory is… a dust jacket. Even though I wrote about the benefits of dog earing pages, I love it even more when a book has a dust jacket. I especially love paperbacks that have flaps. I think I’d have to go with the librarian set. That one is amazing! Either email address for me, but here’s my blog address: regularrumination @ gmail . com :D
Thanks, Eva!
Obviously I need to be entered! Although I have to admit that I’d have a difficult time choosing which group of bookish things I’d like to own. I just got a Nook for Christmas and it’s currently my favorite bookish accessory – that and the cover my MIL got me that allows it to stand on its own so I can read while eating. :) But also, I LURVE to drink a glass of wine in the evenings while reading my current book, so wine would be my other favorite bookish accessory.
My favorite reading accessory is a cup of Marie Belle hot chocolate. I also have tons of magnetic bookmark. I would definitely like the set with the shirt that says Bibliophile on it!!!
Great giveaway Eva!
My blog is Bonnie’s Books . My favorite reading accessory is a book bag (actually, I have many) to carry all the books I tend to haul around (like to and from the library). I like the general book lover package. My email address is emerging DOT paradigm AT yahoo DOT com. I’m glad you said yes about doing this giveaway!
That space before the dot in my other post was the URL, which didn’t show up for some reason:
http://bonniesbooks.blogspot.com/
My accessory is a bookmark that has an elastic band that wraps around the book, which keeps the bookmark from falling out when I drop the book.
I’d choose your selection (but in my size) :-).
I love all the sets you put together. I collect bookmarks. I blog at A Book Lover http://www.abookloverforever.blogspot.com
Thank you for the great giveaway. I would like to be entered for the last option.
treewaterduchess at yahoo dot com
Great choices for the collections, Eva! My favorite reading accessory is a cat snuggled in my lap while I read…and a cup of coffee, of course. I’d love the library pack if I won. Great giveaway!
Eva :D You look so adorable in your picture!! Much better than Vanna White ;) I’d have to say that my favorite reading accessory is my body pillow…it’s pretty much a necessity for me. Well..if I’m home at least :p I’m a total creature of comfort and I just love that thing while I’m reading!
I think I’m logged in already, but my blog is “http://rosness.wordpress.com/” just in case. My email is roslyn.hirst (at) gmail (dot) com.
I like to have many things to hand while I’m reading (tea, bookmarks, notepads and pens), but my necessary accessory while reading is another book. Sometimes I need to get a bit of space from a really intense narrative, and at other times I simply need the security of knowing I have another book to read next. I may forget everything else I need in a day, but my bag will always have at least two books (usually three) in it.
I’d pick the Library set, partly because libraries rock and partly because I’m going to be a Librarian myself soon enough!
I have to have my special cloud pillow, and of course my coffee. I love love love the first set, with the travel cup. Perfect for physical therapy! (mine)
joemmamas (at) gmail (dot) com
I love the set that includes “I Like Big Books”. Even if I don’t win I am going to have to hunt down some merchandise with that on it. Hilarious!
My favorite reading accessories are my walking shoes. I have two young kids that make it difficult for me to sit and read. So as I read I walk back and forth down a long hall that takes me into the playroom. Being constantly on the move makes it easy for me to help them put the last lego on their tower and play a quick game of “red light, green light” before I resume walking and reading.
My blog is at http://butterybooks.com/
God fortsättning as we say in Sweden!
What a great giveaway.
My favourite reading accessory depends on if I am reading for school or pleasure. If I am reading for school it is a blank index card and a pencil. If I am reading for pleasure it is a big cup of tea.
I would love the first bundle if I should win.
Fabulous give-away, Eva! I would love to win the Austen set. My blog and email details are embedded into the comment.
I have lots of bookish accessories but especially love my bookmarks and book journals. At present I can’t live without my new Roald Dahl/Quentin Blake Matilda bookmark, which is just the cutest thing.
My all time favourite reading accessory has to be bookmarks. I inadvertently fell into collecting them several years ago, and I probably have about 200 of them in constant rotation.
Charming as I think the Jane Austen set is, the item I covet the most is the travel mug, so I would choose the first set.
My favourite reading accessory is my cat! I can’t sit and relax and read without him sitting on my lap purring and holding down my book mark in case it disappears.
I am not sure if this is international or not, but I will enter anyway. Don’t worry if it isn’t.
I really like the first set with the bag and the book in.
My email is vivienne_dacosta@hotmail.com
Blog – http://serendipityteacher.blogspot.com/
Great giveaway Eva.
Eva, you look so cute in that picture
My favorite reading accessory is natural light. It seems like a silly must have but artificial light hurts my eyes, aggravates my Irlen’s Syndrome, and gives me terrible migraines. I don’t have to be outside to read; just by a window with the blinds open. (Hence the reason why I’m not really one to read a lot at night.)
Great giveaway! My favourite accessories are bookmarks designed by kids who use the library. Every year the library holds a contest and prints up a number of winning designs. I have several of them, my favourite being a crayon drawing of a girl in pink, turquoise and purple, with the caption “Books go with every outfit.” I think I would go with the first set, mainly because we already have two 2011 calendars! Also, I’m a sucker for notebooks. You can reach me at motheretc@gmail.com.
What a great giveaway, Eva. And a great model! ;)
I can’t decide if I’d like the Bibliophile set or the Library set more…all these sets you’ve put together are wonderful.
These are lovely! My favorite book accessories are mugs I’ve bought from various mystery bookstores. I love them and they are perfect for a hot drink while reading. I also love bookmarks.
I would choose the general booklover pack because the tote has my header quote listed (I cannot live without books…).
This was great, Eva! You look so cute in your Vanna impression.
A great giveaway, Eva!
My favourite bookish accessory is a Scrabble-themed mug with a Y on it – Y for Yvann, and as you can tell from my blog title, my reading requires tea:
http://readingfuelledbytea.typepad.com
I would like the first set please, the general bibliophile’s.
What a great way to start the year!! :-)
I think my favorite reading accessory is rain – there’s something so cozy about being curled up on the sofa with the sound of rain on the windows. :-)
I’d love the first set, the general one. Though the Jane Austen is a close second, it’s fabulous!
I believe you have my email through wordpress…
Joanna
http://lostinagoodstory.blogspot.com/
My must have reading accessory is definitely a travel mug or thermal flask! How anyone could absorb and savour every word without a good Arabica coffee is anyone’s guess! Such wonderful giveaways choices, but I’ll opt for Set 1. Or any set that has a travel mug in it, because I desperately need one now that I am expected to travel 60 miles to London to work! :D
Thanks so much for hosting this Eva! Make way Vanna White!
I loved the photos you included of yourself! I think the first set appeals to me the most.
My favorite reading accessory would have to be coffee, although I do value nice bookmarks too. :)

akreese (at) hotmail (dot) com
I love it Eva! I would choose your set, and my favorite accessory is a pin I got that says ‘Go away! I’m Reading!’ ;) Next best reading accessory is one or both of my cats.
http://amckiereads.wordpress.com
No favourite accessory. I tend to collect bookmarks though and use them all the time.\\
Wow! These are awesome. I’d have to say my necessary accessory is a blanket (preferably a soft one) to snuggle up with.
My blog:
http://librariansbookreviews.blogspot.com
Email: librariansbook(at)gmail
I had a tough time deciding which one to choose (Jane Austen or libraries), but I have to go with Jane Austen. Thanks so much!
Oooh these are all fantastic! I would definitely have to say that my favorite reading accessory is my Snuggie. Yup. I do most of my reading in the morning while my husband is asleep and our house is a little bit chilly. My Snuggie warms me up quite nicely. Teehee.
My blog is http://thestorygirlbookreviews.blogspot.com and my email is lorrenrichelle (at) gmail (dot) com.
I would love to win the final set, with the bibliophile t-shirt in pink. :-D
Hi, my favorite book accessory is probably my bookmark from Eagle Harbor books. Other than that I can read almost anywhere and under any circumstances, including the wall outside our house. My blog is existingbetweenthelines.blogspot.com, and I would love to win the set with the I Cannot Live Without Books bag and I Like Big Books button. Thanks so much, I love your blog!
Oh, wow – what a lovely bunch of bookish goodies! Too bad I didn’t know about these before Christmas or I could have given my husband a nice little wishlist. Oh well – there’s always Valentine’s! ;-)
I’d love to win a prize pack though – and would have to go for the first ‘general booklover’ set, although they’re all great.
My favorite reading accessory right now is my fleece throw. It’s so cozy to curl up on the couch with a good book and a warm blanket.
Thanks for offering this prize contest!
Oh, and my name is a link to my blog but in case you need it in the actual post: http://www.alifeinbooks.com – thanks again!
What fun! I have a great new favourite reading accessory: perfume. It’s a combination of Old Leather and Smoky Tobacco both by CB I Hate Perfume. (He has a scent called In the Library which also has the scent of paper and bindings, as well as leather and pipe tobacco, but I haven’t been able to get that yet.) I gave these scents to my husband, and I’ve been reading books with pipe tobacco in them and smelling it at the same time. Divine! My preference for the draw is the Jane Austen pack, and my blog address is http://nathaliefoy.wordpress.com/
Hi! I’m at http://www.pagesofjulia.wordpress.com and juliabethjenkins at gmail dot com. I would love to have the general bibliophile set.
My favorite reading accessory? I read all the time, everywhere, often with no accessory at all other than bookmark which is usually a scrap of junk-paper; but my *favorite* if I can get it is the littler of my two little dogs, because he’s the one that likes to snuggle. Even though he has the cat-like tendency to put his head between me and my book.
Thanks for this giveaway!
Oh wow, I would love to review for cafepress!
I would love to have the general bibliophile pack if I win. I love libraries but I’d prefer the book one. I’m Callista from http://smsbookreviews.blogspot.com and my email is callista83 AT cogeco DOT ca
I don’t need to many accesories WHEN I read. I don’t like wearing anything on my feet, not even socks. I only need a blanket if I’m cold. I don’t drink tea. I do drink lots of water but not necessarily every time I’m reading, just when I’m thirsty. I do need bookmarks though but I don’t need expensive one of a kind ones. Any cheap one will do. So will a piece of paper.
What a wonderful giveaway! I would love the book lover set.
My favorite reading accessory … is not really an accessory … but a nice warm bubble bath … it’s my favorite place to read because it’s warm and quiet and no one will bother me while I’m in there. A real accessory is probably my laptop because if I come across a good quote I will put it in my blog for safe keeping.
My book blog is: http://dragonflyy419.wordpress.com/
My email is: dragonflyy419 at gmail dot com
This is such a great giveaway, made even better by the fact that you had fun putting it together! The Austen set is my favorite, and like everyone else, I just adore the mug. I must admit I’m tempted by the bibliophile t-shirt as well, but Austen wins. :)
My favorite reading accessory has to be bookmarks. Not only because I don’t actually use any others, but because I have a nice collection and love picking out the right one for every book (that is, if I stop reading near them, otherwise anything will do …).
Happy New Year to you, Eva! and it will be a happy one for whoever wins this give-away :-).
Bookmarks, yes — but I’d have to say my favorite reading accessory is a lamp (no particular one; just need one wherever I sit). I seem to do most of my reading in the evenings and night time!
My blog is: http://lifeisapatchworkquilt.com/blog
If I am lucky enough to win, I’d choose the first set. They are all great, though!
What a fun giveaway, Eva!
My favorite reading accessories are my bookmarks, especially a magnetic one with a cute puppy picture on it.
I would absolutely love to get a Worship a Librarian bag, so my choice is the library related set.
My blog is: http://abookblogofonesown.blogspot.com/
And my e-mail abookblogofonesown [at] yahoo [dot] co [dot] uk
What a great idea for a giveaway! My favorite bookish accessory is not unusual: bookmarks! I have ones that remind me of the places their from (a used bookstore’s contact info bookmark, Bath Abbey, etc.) and I have a couple of bookmarks made by my sister too.
I would love the Jane Austen set of cool things. My blog is http://agoodstoppingpoint.wordpress.com and my email is agoodstoppingpoint@gmail.com.
I don’t know if it is really a reading accessory, but my favorite bookish thing has to be my library card. Cards, actually– I have three now! It still amazes me that I can walk into a big room full of books and take home anything I want just because I have a little piece of plastic hanging from my key chain.
Thanks for running the giveaway. All of the sets are fantastic, but I think I like the Jane Austen best. This is the first giveaway I’ve entered. Does it ever stop being exciting?
Blog: http://readingsandthingsblog.blogspot.com/
Great giveaway! I would love the general book lover one.
Blog http://www.chasethecrayon.blogspot.com
My favorite bookish accessory is a good mechanical pencil. I know, I know, some people think it’s sacrilege, but I mark up my books as I read. I also can’t read with I’m cold, so a good blanket and place to curl up takes the cake, too.
I’d love the general booklover set.
Great giveaway, and thank you so much for hosting!

I’ve collected bookmarks for years whenever I travel. I have one of the Mona Lisa, Mount Rushmore, the Venice canals, etc. I love starting a new book and going through my stash of bookmarks to pick out the perfect one.
I love the giveaway and the hardest part is just picking one of your awesome “sets.” I think (despite my Austen and library love) I’d go with the first set. I love that tote bag and mug!
http://avidreader25.blogspot.com/
Hi Eva. Happy 2011! What a way to start the year.
As it is still winter and I freeze only by having a look at the snow masses outside my favorite reading accessory is a blue-green blanket I love to snuggle up in. The bestes thing is when my cat decides to keep me company and takes a nap in my lap.
I love the giveaway and would love to get the general book lover one. Thanks.
my blog: http://thinkingaboutloud.blogspot.com/
My favourite and absolutely essential bookish accessory is my reading lamp …. middle-age does that you know!
I’d be a proud possessor of the general booklovers set if lick were on my side ….
Lizzy
http://www.lizzysiddal.wordpress.com
My favorite reading/bookish accessory is post-its. I buy them in different sizes. The smaller ones I use to mark beautiful and important passages since I hate to dog-ear a book. I use the bigger post-its for thoughts or questions that I have about what I’m reading or to make a list of other books I need to check out too! :-)
My favorite accessory? I don’t have anything I really need, but a comfy chair is always great.
Oh (I forgot to add), I’d definitely get that I love the library tattoo shirt. so fab!
This is so exciting. I would love the chance to win the set for the general book lover. My favorite book accessory is definitely a bookmark. I have a huge collection! My email is pizzo_kathleen@yahoo.com and my blog is http://boardinginmyforties.blogspot.com
Thanks for hosting Eva!
I love my slippers – like you I got a new pair for Christmas and I never take them off when I’ve got a book in hand. Of course I also need a mug with cocoa in it too :) My pick would be the general book lovers set and my blog is http://homebetweenpages.com.
Great giveaway!!
What a cool giveaway! I’d have to go with the general book lover package…I can’t resist that button!
The only thing I MUST have with me while reading is a pen. I use blank index cards as bookmarks, and since I hate writing in my books, I keep notes on the bookmark. I like the kind of pen that has a good, sturdy clippy thing so I can hook it to the front cover of my book and not, um, lose it :-)
I don’t have a specific item I need, when reading, but I do like to sit down with a cup of tea. Better yet, liters of tea :)
I would like to be entered for the first set, for the general book lover. I admit I had a hard time choosing. I do love Jane Austen, but I don’t think I would use any of the things on there, except the mug, which I love love love! But the general set has some things I really like, especially the travel mug. I liked that in the last set as well! Ah, hard to choose! Anyway, first set it is.
I think my comment would give you my blog address as well as my email?
I think those little sticky note flags are my favorite way of marking my favorite quotes when I’m reading. I do love my book buddy too, though.
I’d love to win the general book lover package (first one). Thanks so much to you and Cafe Press! Beth Fish Reads is at http://bfishreads.blogspot.com
I haven’t posted in awhile, but plan to start posting more regularly this year. My favorite book accessory is the bookmark. I’ll use a plan piece of paper or whatever is on hand, but I prefer a color witty bookmark.
Oh, and I’d like the library set.
What a wonderful idea! I think of myself as a general blogger, with a book page on my blog. Does that count? Here is the link to the my book page: http://beastmomma.squarespace.com/from-shelf-to-hand
My favorite book accessory is cute book marks. I would be excited to have any of the sets, as they are all terrific!
My favorite reading accessory is a pen and paper! I don’t always read with a notebook handy, but I should, because I get more out of reading if I can jot down thoughts as I go.
I like the first set!
Thanks!

Eva this is an amazing giveaway and I love the way you chose to group them! I would love to win the first set of general items.
This is going to sound so strange but my must have reading accessory is warmth. In the summer I love to just sit in the sun and read and in the winter all I need is a delicious cup of tea or one of my cozy soft blankets. I love reading what everyone else has to have!

Yippee!! So fun! I love Cafe Press and my hubby got me an iPhone case for Christmas from them. My favorite reading accessory is my coffee mug. I am addicted to buying mugs. I’d love the Austen package. So cool! Thanks for the giveaway!
What a fantastic giveaway Eva!
I would love the general booklover pack. As for accessories, I am going to have to go with bookmarks! I have loads and loads of them
I’m not entering but, oh wow! I’ve been checking on the site. So many things I want, and so many things I know friends want (they have a nice Star Wars section). I was thinking what I could get my BF for his birthday, and now an entire site of geekish things! (And of course something for me.) Good luck with your give away! And thank you for bring this site to my attention.
My favorite reading accessory is a stack of those little sticky tabs–I keep track of my favorite passages that way.
You’ve put together fantastic sets here, but I think I’d have to go with the general book-lover set. :)
This is my blog: http://fewmorepages.blogspot.com
I guess I’m a hillbilly at heart because my favorite reading accessory is an ice-cold bottle of Dr. Pepper. :)
If I was lucky enough to win, I’d choose the general book lover’s set.

I can’t read without my reading glasses, unfortunately, unless I’m on the Kindle, but my favorite accessory is the appropriate bookmark or post card for the book at hand–I’ve a huge collection to choose from.
I like the first gift pack the best.

Well, last year I would have said a pretty mug of Coca Cola Zero – but somehow I’ve started this new year drinking almost nothing but water so that’s out. I guess it’s my fireplace then – nothing beats sitting and reading, glancing out at the dark, cold and wet world beyond my window and then looking at the warm fire in the fireplace.

Oh – forgot to mention which set I would like if I’m the lucky one – definitely the general book lover’s set. I love the ‘I cannot live without books’ tote!
Please enter me in :). My favorite bookish accessory is my book strings. They fit better than bookmarks (since they’re very thin) and less easy to fall out. My iPhone gotta be the second favorite, to look up words in dictionary. If I win I would love the last set, because I LOVE the shirt! Thanks Eva!
I seem to have become a collector of beautiful or interesting bookmarks. I always just used to use whatever scrap of paper was handy, but somehow I’ve become a bookmark convert. I’ve decided that a great book deserves a great marker. And even mediocre books, for that matter.
I love all the sets, but would choose the first set, for the tote that says “I cannot live without books.” So true.
I blog at http://www.abookwithaview.blogspot.com.
Thanks!
What a wonderful giveaway! Thanks for doing this! I’d love to win the 1st set – the general book lovers’ set.
My favorite bookish accessory is my notepad. I really need it whenever I read – helps me with writing reviews later.
I blog over at http://booksonarainyday.blogspot.com/
I read anywhere, anytime. No accessories needed. But my favourite place is on the couch, under my Penguin collection. Nothing beats a wall of those beautiful coloured spines.
I’d choose the same selection as you. I love that T-shirt.

So hard to choose. I would have to go with the library package though to go with my I *heart* My Library bumper sticker. And the library t-shirt would look great in my closet next to my Reading Is Sexy shirt. But my favorite actual reading accessory is just a cozy blanket to curl up with.

My favorite accessory right now is a nice warm lap blanket.
How wonderful! I think I vote for the general set for my favorite. What a great collection!

Oh wow, what a great giveaway! I am so in love with that “I can’t live without books” tote. Please enter me for the general set.
My favorite reading accessory is my husband, esp. when I score a foot rub.
