December 6, 2008

This is going to be a bullet list, since my fibromyalgia flared up this week. It’s better now, but since this is school crunch time, I’m also feeling slightly overwhelmed.  I want to do Sunday Salon tomorrow, so keeping today’s post short!

  • I will gather up links to all the meme answers like last time; it’s just going to take me a few days. :)
  • I get home (where my ‘shelf of giveaway books’ lives) around December 18th.  Thus, people have until the 20th to do the meme and link to me to be entered in the giveaway.   I haven’t been on bookmooch in forever, so I’m not sure if my account’s still open, but if it is and you’re not impressed with any of my giveaway books I’ll give you a point.
  • I will be hosting a non-fiction challenge for 2009 centered around international relations.  As you might imagine, this is my baby, and there will be many levels of participation, ways to interact, etc.  I was going to wait to post about it until I had the challenge blog up and running and the button done (I found a great pic for it), but I think I’ll just go ahead and publish the explanation now so you can be thinking about it.
  • I really don’t like the new dashboard.  I’m sure in time I’ll adjust, but right now it’s just disorienting.

Fibro flare ups are the worst! I had to take a break from blogging last month because of one. Glad you’re feeling better now.

Hope you feel better soon Eva! I can relate to school getting hectic at this time of year, and will be interested to hear about your challenge. I don’t read as much non-fiction as I’d like, so it might inspire me to remedy that!

Ruth, I didn’t know you had fibro too! It’s always nice to meet others who can really understand.

Sarah, I hope you enjoy the challenge!

    Lezlie, thanks. :)

    Debi, thanks so much. :D

    Stefanie, thank!

Thank you for commenting! For a long while, my health precluded me replying to everyone. Yet I missed the conversation, so I'm now making an effort to reply again. It might take a few days though, and there will be times when I simply can't. Regardless, I always read and value what you say.
