Quick Update

February 8, 2007

No time to review now, but a preview of things ahead:

+expect a glowing review of Remains of the Day

+look for a not-so-glowing review of Inheritance of Loss

+I’m trying to increase my non-fic reading, but I don’t really know how to find good non-fic; so, join me on the hunt!

Can’t wait to hear you thoughts on Remains of the day. I so want to read it.

I’m reading no-fic right now. Istanbul by Orhan Pamuk. So far its lovely, but I’m moving along at a snails pace.

I’m very much excited to read your reviews so will check back in soon. I loved Remains of the Day but don’t know anything about Inheritance of Loss.

I keep circling Inheritance Of Loss at the bookstore. Round and round…haven’t bought it yet.

Thoughts of Joy is sponsoring a non-fiction challenge to begin in May. You can read about it on my blog. I’m too challenged to put her site here. I think you’ll find lots of great non-fiction that people are planning to read. I’m readin Barack Obama’s “Dreams of My Father.” Very thought-provoking.

What kind of non-fiction do you like? I second “framed” that Barack’s book is worthwhile.

Thank you for commenting! For a long while, my health precluded me replying to everyone. Yet I missed the conversation, so I'm now making an effort to reply again. It might take a few days though, and there will be times when I simply can't. Regardless, I always read and value what you say.
